Good-bye Sarah Jane...
She was first on the show back in the 1970's and made an appearance on an episode of the new series that was so popular that they created a spin-off series with her character called "The Sarah Jane Adventures".
She was the first Companion that I ever saw on the show, and I know that Doctor Who fandom (the "Whovians") must be mourning her loss deeply.
May she rest in peace....
